Pastor Joe Fuiten endorses Justices
JOHNSON and SANDERS
Washington State Supreme Court
A very important race on your primary ballot is the state Supreme Court and the reelection of Justices JIM JOHNSON and RICHARD SANDERS.
Of absolutely critical importance is the reelection of Washington Supreme Court Justice Richard Sanders
in the August primary. The election will be decided in just a few weeks - IN THE PRIMARY - and we need Justice Sanders to win 50% plus one.
Justice Sanders has been a constant target of the left throughout his judicial career.
- Remember back in 1996 when he gave a brief thank you speech to the March for Life in Olympia on the day he was sworn in? The Judicial Conduct Commission went after him and only after 3 years of litigation and $90,000 of attorney fees was Justice Sanders completely vindicated.
- Remember the effort to force same sex marriage through the state Supreme Court? Justice Sanders was the deciding no vote in a 5-4 decision.
- Remember when Clark County zoned against establishing a church in every single zone without a conditional use permit? Justice Sanders wrote a fiery dissent to the majority's trampling of our constitutional rights.
This year Justice Sanders has been endorsed by Human Life (as he always is). His opponent has been endorsed by National Abortion Rights Action League, Planned Parenthood, the State Democratic Party, the State Labor Council and ALL the usual suspects. They are brutalizing Justice Sanders for his pro life views in one personal attack after another. However Justice Sanders is a man of principle and will not back down on this or his defense of any of your individual rights.
Justice Sanders is standing up for us, and WE MUST STAND UP FOR HIM!You can help by emailing all your friends and contributing to Justice Sanders at www.Friendsofjustice.com. PLEASE DO IT NOW!
The ballots are already out and the voting has begun. IMPORTANT REMINDER: Justice Sanders re-election will be decided IN THE PRIMARY; he will need 50% plus one to win.
The Jim Johnson race will be decided in the August 17th Primary. Since there are only two candidates, the one who gets the most votes in the Primary election wins. In the Sanders race, if he gets more than 50%, he will be elected. It would be great to elect two friends to the Court in the Primary.
Justice Jim Johnson is a "constitutionalist" dedicated to preserving the constitution and law and written. He is not the kind of justice, unlike the liberals, who will legislate from the bench.
Justice Jim Johnson has proven his commitment to the constitution and our liberty:
The Defense of Marriage. Justice Johnson was the crucial fifth vote that stopped the effort to have court ordered gay marriage in Washington State.
Freedom of Religion. Justice Johnson wrote one of the most powerful defenses for the freedom of religion every issued by a judge in City of Woodinville v. North Shore United Church of Christ.
Parents' Rights. The state Supreme Court dealt a horrible injury to one of our most basic human right - the right to be a parent - in a 7 to 2 ruling In re the parentage of L.B. Justice Johnson dissented.
Justice Jim Johnson has repeatedly defended our rights up against the most powerful special interest groups in our state. When they violated the law, he held them accountable. Today those interest groups are trying to remove Justice Johnson by spending over $200,000 attacking him.
The contrast between Justice Johnson and his opponent is profound. The opponent serves on the board of Planned Parenthood and has said he would have ruled in favor of gay marriage. More importantly, his opponent is genuinely unqualified - lacking the needed legal and judicial experience.

Dino ROSSI for U.S. Senate
I believe Dino Rossi is the right person to challenge Patty Murray. He has the good values that I appreciate. I have spent some time talking with Dino about the moral issues as well as the economic challenges. If we get him elected, he will represent us well. He also has the political savvy to run a successful campaign. It takes money and sophistication to win. He has both. This is not the time to run a novice against a wily campaigner like Patty Murray.
I appreciate Clint Didier and Paul Akers and think they are good men but I don't think they are the ones who can be successful in the November election.
The August election is all about November. We know how close Dino Rossi came to being elected Governor in two rather anti-Republican years. I think people will rally to him in a year like this when the Democrat brand is increasingly tarnished. I want to give Dino a great Primary victory that will propel him into the General.
