Dear Washington State Conservatives:
We are proud to support David Castillo for
Congress in our capacity as individuals and leaders in the community. We are honored to be part of David's Social Conservative Advisory
Council. We hope that you will consider joining us as we lock arms
with him as he seeks to bring new leadership to the United States
Congress.
David Castillo  | We
feel confident recommending David to you because we have seen him and
his family in action working in the 3rd Congressional District and standing up for our conservative values.
We know that David understands that the family is the basic building
block of every strong community and nation. He knows that we need
legislation that will fortify families, not weaken them. America's
greatness is undergirded through hard work, personal responsibility,
strong marriages and the family unit pulling together in tough times
like those we face today.
Unfortunately,
our federal government has too often been part of the problem rather
than enacting policies to promote healthy families. It is time we have public servants like David Castillo who will promote a culture of life from conception through natural death. We must protect the most vulnerable among us, from the beginning of life to the end. Furthermore, we want to see more elected officials in Washington who support legislation that will reinforce marriage as the bedrock of a healthy society.
That means providing benefits for those who stay married through tax
credits and lowering the tax burden for those who choose to raise up
the next generation of Americans. Over the last decade, we have seen
an assault on the institution of marriage. In 2009, David joined so
many of us in the faith community who were proud to vote to protect
traditional one-man, one-woman marriage in our state Constitution. Finally, David shares our view that choice in education is a foundational principle of freedom. Parents are responsible for the upbringing of their children, not the government. For those who choose to home-school their children or send their children to private schools, he will protect their freedom. David's
faith in God has provided a firm foundation for him and Callie as they
raise their son Caidan here in the 3rd Congressional District. That
same faith has guided him as he built a thriving small business as a
financial planner. We are confident that David will be a leader we can count on to stand up for our values in the United States Congress. Will
